Having a partner who will work closely alongside you, someone who understands your business and is an expert in people issues is an amazing asset. I will be your personal HR advisor, available when you need to talk issues through, someone you will be able to rely on when you need some everyday advice and also when the situation becomes tricky to deal with. There is a plethora of employee legislation and I will keep you on track legally, make sure that all your team are fairly looked after and your business is protected.
Planning your people strategy is as important as making a business plan, we will be able to work on this together. Making sure you have the right people, in the right place, at the right time and they are capable of fulfilling their roles. You will also have an eye on the future and so want to have a succession plan in place. Retaining and rewarding your people will be important to you and I can support you with this.
Bringing new people into your business can be daunting as you want to get the right fit and once you have made the job offer then induction and training them is key, I will advise and support you on these activities. Developing the capability of your people will then become your priority and I can work alongside you to devise bespoke training plans.
